With decades of experience, MIDOCAR offers a full-service ecosystem  from new and used car sales to service appointments, HR recruitment and customer loyalty, all under a trusted brand known for innovation and quality.

We partnered with MIDOCAR to design and build a modular digital platform that brings clarity to a complex automotive ecosystem. From new car showcases and used car marketplace to service booking, job listings and a customer loyalty space, everything is now unified in a clean, responsive experience.

We helped shape Foodkit’s mobile product experience to enhance browsing, ordering and user trust in a fast-moving food commerce space. 

Foodkit

From uncovering friction points in the ordering flow to refining subscription logic and personalization, the goal was clear: make healthy eating effortless, enjoyable and accessible backed by design that delivers clarity and trust.

FoodKit aimed to simplify healthy eating by delivering ready-to-eat meals across Romania. However, their digital platform lacked the intuitive navigation and emotional storytelling needed to engage users effectively. The website's structure made it difficult for customers to explore the menu, understand the benefits and place orders seamlessly.

The objective was to design a dashboard that enables government officials to quickly understand and act on real-time citizen feedback. The focus was on creating a clear, intuitive interface that transforms complex and unstructured data into accessible, actionable insights for non-technical users.

The success of the ION dashboard came from the close collaboration between research and design. Cristian (ONE PERCENTER) brought a thoughtful approach to translating insights into a user experience that feels clear, intuitive and efficient. Our aim was to reduce friction and make public sentiment accessible at a glance and together, we created a tool that helps decision-makers stay connected to the people they serve.

user research

To design a tool that truly serves its users, we began by understanding the daily workflows, needs, and pain points of the dashboard’s primary audience: government analysts, public policy advisors and data interpreters. 

Through interviews, contextual inquiry and usability observations, we identified key user expectations, fast access to trends, clarity in data visualization, and minimal friction in navigation. 

We also explored their current tools and workarounds, which often involved scattered spreadsheets and manual tracking. These insights shaped the foundation of the dashboard’s structure, ensuring the interface aligned with real-world tasks and cognitive patterns. Accessibility and ease of interpretation were key, especially given the diversity in digital fluency among users.

Among the notable achievements of the ION project is the launch of an intuitive and accessible digital platform for all citizens. This platform continuously gathers opinions expressed in the public space, analyzes them using advanced algorithms and generates periodic reports that reflect key trends and major topics of public interest. 

Additionally, ION actively contributes to governmental transparency by analyzing citizen concerns. These analyses facilitate a constructive dialogue between citizens and public authorities, thereby strengthening the democratic decision-making process.

Inside the Ion Dashboard

At the core of this system lies a custom-built dashboard, a digital interface that gives policymakers real-time access to the feelings, frustrations and hopes of the Romanian people.

Since its launch, the ION project has managed to collect and analyze millions of opinions and suggestions, highlighting key issues such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, the environment and digitalization. Based on this information, the Romanian Government has been able to quickly identify priority areas for intervention in order to adjust public policies to better meet citizens’ expectations.

The ION project also stands out for its innovative approach on an international level, being one of the first examples of using artificial intelligence in the service of participatory democracy. It has attracted the attention of other countries and international organizations, which view the project as a model of best practices that could be replicated and adapted in various global contexts.
