 is one of Romania’s leading automotive groups, representing Audi and Volkswagen. With decades of experience, MIDOCAR offers a full-service ecosystem  from new and used car sales to service appointments, HR recruitment and customer loyalty, all under a trusted brand known for innovation and quality.

We partnered with MIDOCAR to design and build a modular digital platform that brings clarity to a complex automotive ecosystem. From new car showcases and used car marketplace to service booking, job listings and a customer loyalty space, everything is now unified in a clean, responsive experience.

User Research

Before designing, we took time to deeply understand our users. Through a mix of 64 surveys, 15 one-on-one interviews and 2 focus groups, we identified core frustrations and behavioral patterns that shaped every UX decision.

While users appreciated the idea of recurring orders, 

nearly 60% hesitated to activate FlexiOrder

 because they weren’t sure how flexible it really was. Many feared being locked in, with no easy way to pause, skip, or adjust their deliveries.

This insight led us to reframe how FlexiOrder was presented, from a rigid subscription to a fully controllable routine. 

This shift increased user confidence and drove a significant uptick in activation rates for the feature.

The project began with a full UX audit to uncover key friction points in the ordering journey. Session recordings, customer feedback and flow analysis revealed recurring drop-offs during meal selection, unclear steps between cart and checkout and a lack of visual feedback during actions.

Our findings guided a complete reorganization of the core user journey. We:

reduced cognitive load, increased task completion rates

 and positioned FoodKit as a truly user-centric platform for health-focused meal planning.

From uncovering friction points in the ordering flow to refining subscription logic and personalization, the goal was clear: make healthy eating effortless, enjoyable and accessible backed by design that delivers clarity and trust.

FoodKit aimed to simplify healthy eating by delivering ready-to-eat meals across Romania. However, their digital platform lacked the intuitive navigation and emotional storytelling needed to engage users effectively. The website's structure made it difficult for customers to explore the menu, understand the benefits and place orders seamlessly.
